Biography

Yong Jing is a physiotherapist with specialised experience in neurological rehabilitation, having worked within the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) across both hospital and community settings. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.

She is particularly passionate about helping people with Parkinson’s disease maintain mobility, confidence, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation and personalised exercise programmes. During her time in London, she served as a Parkinson’s Disease Champion within her community neurology team and incorporates principles from the internationally recognised PD Warrior programme into her clinical practice.

Yong Jing believes that successful rehabilitation begins with understanding each person’s unique goals and challenges. She takes a collaborative and patient-centred approach, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop meaningful treatment plans that support everyday function and long-term wellbeing.

Her experience spans acute hospital care, neurological rehabilitation, community-based therapy, and multidisciplinary team practice. She has worked alongside neurologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for people living with complex neurological conditions.

Yong Jing graduated with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom, and is a registered physiotherapist with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She continues to pursue professional development in movement disorders, stroke rehabilitation, and Parkinson’s disease management. Outside the clinic, Yong Jing enjoys helping people discover that movement can remain meaningful, enjoyable, and empowering at every stage of life.
